When looking for motivation they key is to define and emotionally connect to your "why". What are the reasons you want to be motivated in the first place? If you have a why to love for you can tolerate any how.
Anyone who thinks they can't lose weight usually isn't counting calories. Weight loss is simple math. A pound is 3500 calories. Get a device that tracks your cals in and cals out. If you can create a deficit of roughly 1000 cals a day I guarantee you'll lose around two pounds a week.

Try not to think of weight loss tips as seasonal or specific to a "condition'" like thyroid or "baby weight". Weight loss is weight loss. It's always a matter of eating less and moving more. The quality of calories are relevant in that you should use common sense with food choices. Eat as chemical free as possible As chemicals disrupt our metabolism making us sick and over weight.

The skin question... I get it constantly. This is a matter of genetics. Some people have skin that is more resilient. There isn't anything we can do except stay lean and toned for appearance but it won't actually change your skin. Only surgery will do that which is expensive and painful. Honestly, you have a beautiful baby. We all have "imperfections". Try to gain perspective a bit.
I recommend actual training. When I biked a leg of the Malibu tri I trained by riding the course 3-4 times a week. A spin class is also an ok substitute.
