TIFF Gets Underway At Reitman Square Dedication
The Toronto International Film Festival gets underway with the opening of the TIFF Bell Lightbox and a dedication to the Reitman family. Our Kim D'Eon caught up with Dan Aykroyd at the Reitman Square dedication.
At the opening, the King Street West TIFF block was named in honour of father-and-son filmmakers, Ivan and Jason Reitman's family.
After chatting with the Reitmans at the launch, Kim Tweeted: "Amazing building. Amazing family."

Martin Sheen Arrives
Legendary actor Martin Sheen spotted signing autographs as he arrives at
Toronto's Pearson airport last night.
Martin stars as a doctor who heads to France to collect his son's
remains in "The Way". The movie is written and directed by his son
Emilio Estevez. Four years ago Emilio screened his impressive ensemble
biopic "Bobby" at TIFF.
Olivia Newton John Spot-On At Starbucks In Yorkville
Set to debut "Score: A Hockey Musical" tonight at Roy Thomson Hall, ET Canada just spotted Olivia Newton John picking up a venti Starbucks in Yorkville.
The legendary star was stylish as ever sporting a leopard print handbag, oversized shades and skinny jeans.
She also attended a Mongrel media party for the opening night musical at Brassaii with her magnate husband, John Easterling, last night.

A Brolin for All Ages
Broody, Bold and a little Bad-ass! Josh Brolin is on the cover of VMan's
first ever "Age Issue", and we agree he looks good at any age!
The actor will be walking the TIFF red carpet Sunday for Woody Allen's new comedy "You will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger".
But yesterday in New York, Josh gave us an update on his "Wall Street 2"
co-star Michael Douglas' battle with throat
cancer, saying: "I talked with him last week and he's really powering through it - he's
the ultimate warrior. He's getting out there and doing what he needs to
do to promote the movie. There is no idea of a victim with him at all
zero and I have a lot of appreciation for that."
Kat Dennings Loves Her Louboutins
On the "Daydream Nation" red carpet at the Ryerson Theatre just now, Kat Dennings told our fashion producer Angie Smith that she had a difficult time finding the perfect LBD for the gala.
"You don't want to know how many outfits I tried on before choosing this one," she admits.
She adds that she loves her Louboutins, but is looking forward to going home to sleep tonight - not party!
Ben Affleck Talks About Staying In Shape With Cheryl Hickey
Ben Affleck chatted with Cheryl Hickey in our ETC Lounge today, revealing his workout regime for "The Town".
"I thought I could work out a little while and be in shape, so I worked out for four months and I looked the exact same," he admits. "So, I kept on
going. By the time I got to where we were shooting it was a year. It was hard, very hard work."
"I didn't do glistening, but there was a lot of lighting tricks."

Jon Hamm Signs On To Moët & Chandon Cause
"The Town" star Jon Hamm signs the Moët & Chandon charity bottle at our ETC Lounge when he drops in to chat with Cheryl about the new flick.
The bottle will be auctioned off to benefit the Moët & Chandon Scholarship for film residents at the Canadian Film Centre.
Josh Hartnett Talks Badass 'Bunraku'
Josh Hartnett stops into our ETC Studio Lounge to chat about his TIFF flick, "Bunraku". He says he was in the gym training everyday for the fight scenes in the film he describes as: "[an] old school, Samurai, revenge, comedy action" film.
He says he went beyond what he thought was even possible without having a stunt double.
